    Agora is a think and do tank promoting innovative policies centered on peacebuilding and social justice.

    We are seeking a Medis Manager to develop and execute digital marketing strategies that enhance our visibility, engagement, and impact. This role involves managing Agora’s social media channels, creating compelling content, and overseeing website development and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience in social media strategy, digital storytelling, website design, and user experience (UX) best practices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Social Media Management:

      • Develop and implement a content strategy for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok.
      • Create, curate, and schedule engaging multimedia content (graphics, videos, articles) that aligns with Agora’s mission and values.
      • Monitor and analyze social media performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
      • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and build an active online community.
      • Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to enhance Agora’s digital presence.

    Website Development & Management:

      • Design, develop, and maintain Agora’s website to ensure an optimal user experience and alignment with branding.
      • Update content regularly, including blogs, news, event pages, and resources.
      • Improve website functionality, navigation, and SEO performance.
      • Implement website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track visitor engagement and inform strategy.
      • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with developers or hosting providers as needed.

    Content Creation & Digital Strategy:

      • Develop a content calendar that integrates social media, website updates, and email campaigns.
      • Create compelling narratives and visuals that effectively communicate Agora’s impact.
      • Collaborate with the communications and program teams to align messaging and digital outreach efforts.
      • Support digital fundraising campaigns through targeted social media and website strategies.

    Qualifications & Experience:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
      • Experience in social media management, digital marketing, or website development.
      • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
      • Experience with website development tools such as WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, or similar CMS platforms.
      • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and SEO best practices.
      • Proficiency in graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
      • Strong writing and storytelling skills with attention to detail.
      • Ability to analyze digital metrics and adapt strategies accordingly.
      • Passion for social impact and mission-driven work.
