Head Coach for Middle School Fastpitch Softball Team

Overview:

TN Heat Sports, a Christian organization serving homeschool students in Middle Tennessee, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Head Coach for our Middle School Fastpitch Softball Team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young athletes while teaching them valuable skills on and off the field.

Role & Responsibilities:

• • Foster a positive, encouraging, and faith-based environment for all players.
  • Teach sound softball fundamentals.
  • Lead the middle school softball team in practices, games, and team events.
  • Serve as a role model in Christian values, demonstrating respect, integrity, and teamwork.
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, and organization leadership to ensure a positive and successful season.

Qualifications:

• • Female applicants preferred, with high school softball playing experience (college-level experience preferred).
  • A strong personal faith and alignment with the Christian values of the TN Heat Sports organization.
  • A heart for working with middle school-aged children, with a nurturing and positive coaching style.
  • The ability to teach and mentor athletes while maintaining a fun and engaging atmosphere.
  • Must pass a background check.

Additional Details:

• • Softball tryouts for the 2025/2026 team will begin in summer 2025.
  • This is a volunteer position, offering valuable experience and the opportunity to positively impact student-athletes in our community.
