    Position Summary:

    The Webmaster (Volunteer) will be responsible for managing and maintaining Sacred Soil Mission Corp’s website, ensuring that all content is accurate, up-to-date, and linked correctly. This role requires expertise in WordPress CMS, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed. The commitment is about 2-3 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a passion for environmental sustainability and experience in web management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Website Maintenance: Ensure the website is fully functional, with all links working correctly, and content properly formatted and displayed.
    • Content Updates: Regularly update website content, including text, images, and other multimedia, to reflect current events, initiatives, and organizational news.
    • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any technical issues with the website, such as broken links, formatting errors, or functionality problems.
    • SEO Optimization: Implement basic SEO best practices to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
    • Collaborative Support: Work with the leadership team to ensure the website aligns with organizational goals and branding.
    • Monitoring Performance: Use analytics tools to track website performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

    Qualifications:

    • Previous experience managing websites using WordPress CMS.
    • Knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and SEO best practices.
    • Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy across all website content.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
    • Prior experience working with a nonprofit or faith-based organization is preferred but not required.
    • Passion for environmental sustainability and the mission of Sacred Soil Mission Corp.
