Did you know? Thousands of pets are surrendered to shelters every year because their families feel they have no other options. You can help change that.
Voices for Shelter Animals a local NYC Advocacy group is on a mission to keep pets with their loving families, and we need YOU to make it happen. If you’ve got passion, skills, or even just a little time, you can make a real difference.
Need to be able to do one or all of the tasks. 3 Categories. Let me know which category or catagories you can do. If you can make calls it would be within the 50 states.
Here’s how you can help:
1.Be Resource Detective
Scour the web and social media to find programs, tips, and tools that help families keep their pets—whether it’s affordable pet food, training resources, or emergency assistance. Must be internet savvy ,self sufficient and can figure out how to research.
Must need to know copy and paste nto a simple text document excel. Most likely easier with laptop or desktop vs mobile phone for copy paste.
2.Be a Price Sleuth
Dig up and compare prices for spay/neuter services. Your research could help us connect families to affordable care and prevent unwanted litters. This could involve makeing some calls.
3. Be a Support Finder
Identify shelters, rescues, and organizations offering resources like veterinary help, pet food banks, or housing solutions for pet owners in need. This will involve finding emails and making calls.
