    Description

    GMEC is looking for volunteers to provide academic support for refugees/asylees high school students in person and virtually on a weekly basis. Subjects include math, science, reading, writing, and more. Tutors work closely with the Refugee Youth Mentor, GMEC Coordinator and multilingual/multicultural Youth in an afterschool setting to provide one-on-one and small group academic support. Volunteers should be dedicated, responsible, and ready to make a positive impact in a student’s life through academic tutoring.
