Help Create Biochar from Waste wood: Allemansratt Park | Lindstrom February 8, 10am-2pm

Thanks for joining us on this biochar adventure at Allemansratt Wilderness Park! Let's warm up helping Great River Greening team hauling and stacking dead buckthorn. Fallow of the big reward: HUGE bonfire and see biochar production from waste wood and learn about applications in natural resource management. This volunteer event is part of Celebration of the Lakes 2025! Whether you're local to the Chisago Lakes Area, or making a trip out to see us, we're excited to host this event! (Please note: Schedule may be subject to changes due weather conditions. Registrants will be notified about conditions as the event approaches.) We will walk on the ice to the island, as long as it is safe to do so. If there is no snow cover on the ice, it will be slippery.

All are welcome, any necessary training will be provided.
