    The Development Studies Research Group (DESREG) is a national network of Univeristy community-based research and development NGOs based in Imo State University, Owerri, Imo State, Nigeria. The main areas of our research are covered by four Units operating within DESREG, and they are: 1. Research in International Development 2. Integrated Agriculture 3. Entomology and Parasitology 4. Mycological and Biological Control

    The current key research being carried out by the Unit on Int'l Devpt are: Indigenous Knowledge Systems in Nigeria & National Technological Capabilities. The Integrated Agric and the Mycological Units are engaged in Biodiverty Prospecting in Nigeria.
