About Us
The Renton Innovation Zone Partnership (RIZP) connects communities and schools to drastically improve the well-being of children and their academic performance in the service areas of four elementary schools in the Renton School District.
The Renton Innovation Zone Partnership (RIZP) works to ensure that every child feels safe, supported, connected, inspired to learn and is thriving.
The RIZP will:
1. Develop a whole child approach with social emotional, academic and skill development in environments that are welcoming, supportive, and inclusive.
2. Expand resources in neighborhoods and community-based organizations to support the needs of children and families.
3. Acknowledge families are the children’s first educators, advocates and cocreators of opportunities for learning.
The Renton Innovation Zone Partnership is under fiscal sponsorship with Rainier Valley Corps.
