    About Civicom Aid

    Civicom Aid is a non-profit organization based in Mombasa, Kenya, dedicated to transforming lives and uplifting marginalized communities through innovative and impactful programs. Our mission is to address systemic challenges in education, healthcare, food security, and climate resilience, ensuring a brighter and sustainable future for all.

    Who We Serve

    Civicom Aid focuses on empowering underserved and vulnerable populations, including:

    • Family Farmers: Enhancing food security and improving livelihoods through sustainable agriculture and regenerative practices.
    • Out-of-School Children: Supporting education access by providing school fees, supplies, and scholarships to reduce dropout rates and promote learning continuity.
    • Women and Girls: Addressing healthcare needs, including ending obstetric fistula, and promoting reintegration and advocacy.
    • Rural and Dryland Communities: Implementing climate-resilient agricultural methods and environmental conservation initiatives to combat soil degradation and water scarcity.
    • Youth and Women Entrepreneurs: Offering training in entrepreneurship, IT, coding, job readiness, and online job searching to create pathways to economic empowerment.

    Key Programs and Initiatives

    1. Education Access and Support:
      • Building schools and funding tuition for children from needy families.
      • Operating the Beach Pathway School, offering affordable education and job skills training.
    2. Healthcare Access Program:
      • Preventing and treating obstetric fistula, with reintegration support for survivors.
    3. Climate Resilience and Agriculture:
      • Promoting sustainable farming practices like Assisted Natural Regeneration and Half Bunds to improve land productivity and biodiversity.
    4. Zero Malaria Drive:
      • Focused on larvae elimination, malaria vector prevention, and promoting community health awareness.
    5. Community Development:
      • Empowering women and youth through tailored vocational and entrepreneurial training programs.
