    The Arc of King County is the oldest non-profit organization serving individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Since the 1930’s The Arc of King County has helped to change public attitudes, develop publicly and privately funded services, and set standards for quality programs that treat people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) with dignity and respect, and to assist them to determine the course of their own lives. The community of people with I/DD and their families have achieved and continue to achieve remarkable civil rights milestones. The Arc of King County is here to support and promote this community and their achievements.
