SW SISTERHOOD

We are the little sister organization to NJ Sisterhood, founded in Jersey City in ​2014. Seeing a need for a Muslim woman's organization in Tucson, AZ, we ​created SW Sisterhood to bring together diverse talented female Muslim ​leaders in the southwestern U.S. in community service, leadership development, ​and collaborative learning and practice.

The purpose of SW Sisterhood is to collectively empower Muslim women by ​developing collaborative leadership through community outreach, education, ​and engagement. The organization strives to create a community where Muslim ​women can support each other and the wider community, thrive, learn, and ​grow together through religious practice, reach our full potential, feel belonging ​and that we are contributing, and living fulfilled lives.
