  • About Us

All people have a right to a clean and healthy environment in which their communities can live, work, learn, play and thrive. Towards this vision, the Asian Pacific Environmental Network was founded in 1993 to bring together a collective voice among the diverse Asian Pacific Islander communities in the US. Through a strategy which combines grassroots community organizing, buidling a network among our communities, and collaborating with the other environmental justice networks, APEN works to strengthen the capacity of our communities to protect and shape our environments. APEN is part of a global, multi-racial movement for environmental, social and economic justice.
