  • About Us

Amazon Learning creates meaningful educational experiences for people interested in gaining understanding of the link between local people and the Amazonian ecosystem. We foster cross-cultural learning through a variety of programs from short one-week courses led by experts in their field to four-month immersion programs where participants live and collaborate on projects in local communities. We want our participants to leave a positive impact on the people the have the opportunity to collaborate with, and to go home with a deepened knowledge of the culture and ecosystem of the Amazon.
