    About East Harlem Scholars Academies

Founded upon the 55-year legacy of East Harlem Tutorial Program (EHTP), East Harlem Scholars Academies are public charter schools that prepare students with the academic skills, strength of character and social and emotional well-being to excel in high school and college, to lead in their communities and to realize their best possible selves. Scholars Academy will serve grades K-4 in the 2014 school year, while Scholars Academy II will expand to serve grades K-2. Both schools are chartered to grow K-8.
