About Us
Launch Expeditionary Learning Charter School is part of a network of 11 Expeditionary Learning (EL) schools in New York City and is the NYC network's first charter school. Expeditionary Learning is a proven educational model being implemented in over 150 district, charter and independent schools across the country. Expeditionary Learning balances both academic rigor and character development through experiential, project-based learning. Launch opened its doors in 2012 in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. As Launch grows, the school is building a team of talented individuals with a passion for making a difference in the lives of students in Bed-Stuy.
