  • About Us

COPANI was formed from the Spanish words Convención Panamericana Nikkei which translates to Pan American Nikkei Convention. It is an event held every two years in a member country of the Pan American Nikkei Association (PANA) or Asociación Panamericana Nikkei (APN). PANA/APN is an international, non-profit, non-political, and non-religious institution that brings together Japanese descendants of the Americas. This year's conference will champion human rights from every single background as a response to the current political climate.
