The Pradiya Foundation is dedicated to developing a vibrant, empowered community in a remote Himalayan village. One essential step in this mission is the establishment of a primary school, which will provide high-quality education to local children.

The Pradiya Foundation is a remarkable initiative, proving that anything is possible when driven by good intentions stemming from a pure heart. Its founder, Oinak Singh, is a young Nepali man who grew up in a children’s home in India and always dreamed of creating a similar project in his family’s home village, Oda, located at 2200 m of altitude in the Karnali region, widely regarded as the poorest region in Nepal.

Founded in 2022, the Pradiya Foundation began as a children’s home nestled in the stunning Nepali Himalayas. By April 2025, it will also open a primary school, with future plans to create a retreat center for those seeking solace in this Himalayan paradise, ultimately aiming to transform Pradiya into a green community that attracts people to the village and supports its development. Indeed, beyond serving as a home for orphans or children from impoverished, large families or traumatic backgrounds, the foundation works in education, health and nutrition, women’s empowerment, organic farming, and sustainable practices.
