    The Mountain Lion Foundation is a national 501c3 non-profit organization headquartered in Sacramento, CA. The Foundation is dedicated to protecting mountain lions and their habitat for current and future generations. We believe that they are valuable in their own right, without need of justification for their existence and that they deserve to be here and thrive. We ensure the continuance of these native big cats and the wild places they rely on for survival by fostering co-existence and informing policymakers. With a focus on education, advocacy, public outreach and emphasizing the importance of sound science, we work with communities to preserve this keystone species.
