Registered Engineers for Disaster Relief India or RedR India is part of the RedR International network, a humanitarian, non-profit organization that maintains a register of experienced humanitarian professionals and provides technical and capacity building services to governments and external support agencies that work in the humanitarian and DRR sectors. RedR is an independent federation of nationally registered RedR organizations. The national organizations, whilst they may act in the humanitarian service of their governments and whilst they be associated with other organizations, maintain their autonomy so that they may be always able to act in accordance with the principles of RedR. At present there are RedR organizations in 5 countries, including India. The others are located in Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia and the United Kingdom.
