    Our Vision is: To be recognized as the community resource for developing skills and establishing systems to improve the well- being of the community by making peaceful resolutions a way of life.   

    Our Mission is: To help individuals in the community develop the capacity to respectfully resolve conflict.

    MCEC takes pride in the programs and services we offer our communities. We have conflict resolution programs for youth and adults. For the community at-large, we offer Anger Management Skill Development, Mediation, and Parenting for Success. For our communities' at-risk youth, we provide the following services: Building Peace in the Schools, Community Service/Restitution, Family Connections, Juvenile Mediation, Girls Empowered/Man Up, MCEC Mentors, Teen Court, and Truancy Mediation. MCEC currently offers services in 11 North Carolina Counties with our main office located in Pitt County (Greenville), NC.
