Elevated Thought

  • Mission

Elevated Thought (ET) provides creative access, exposure, and opportunity for youth and artists of color. Focused on alternative models of art-based education and economic opportunities, ET amplifies creativity’s role in individual and social progress. ET believes that if youth and artists of color have access and exposure to wide-ranging forms of creativity and consistent mentorship and guidance through high-quality arts programs, they will develop the skills and confidence to better pursue opportunities to both self-actualize and contribute to social progress.

    About Us

At a grassroots level, we believe art is a form of liberation. At ET, authentic creative spaces - in which youth and artists of color can build their technical art skills, collaborative capacity, and societal awareness - nurture intellectual, emotional, and artistic power. This process underscores ET's goals of creating long-term outcomes of reshaping and developing more humanized social systems through strengthened individual foundations based on creativity, conversation, and collaboration.
