Henry Street Settlement

Henry Street Settlement opens doors of opportunity to enrich lives and enhance human progress for Lower East Side residents and other New Yorkers through social services, arts, and health care programs.

Our programs include transitional shelter and employment training for homeless families; a community mental health clinic; meals, activities, and assistance for seniors; myriad educational programs and employment services as well as the nationally recognized home for contemporary interdisciplinary arts on the Lower East Side, Abrons Arts Center. Many of our programs have become national models for the delivery of social services.
