NJPIRG Student Chapters Referendum Committee

Camden, NJ

  • About Us

In 1972, the University Board of Governors adopted a policy to create a mechanism for students to decide, through a referendum vote, to fund educationally valuable programs and organizations through a fee on their term bill. The referendum is a way to ensure that there is a mandate from the student body at Rutgers that says students continue to want an NJPIRG chapter on campus. It is the duty of NJPIRG Student Chapters Referendum Committee to organize and run a non-partial referendum for the NJPIRG Referendum at Rutgers University.
