About Us
Retirees, College students and Homemakers encouraged to volunteer
Where a screened volunteer 18+ will be matched with a senior 60+ based upon similar common interests by meeting once a week for weekly in home visits and phones calls to create a positive social contact.
Once a volunteer is matched with a senior based on similar interests they will begin with phone calls. Once they both feel comfortable to meet in person, I will then meet them at the seniors house to introduce them. This is where both volunteer and senior choose their own days and times for each visit.
In this program it is the mutual exchange of encouragement, knowledge and life experiences between participants. Both the volunteer and senior benefit from this positive friendship bond.
