Men Can Stop Rape (MCSR)

Men Can Stop Rape (MCSR) is a national nonprofit based in Washington, DC, that mobilizes men to use their strength for creating cultures free from violence, especially men’s violence against women and girls. that offers programs, trainings, and materials designed to engage men in the prevention of men’s violence against women. The three areas that define our work – youth development programming, public education, and training and technical assistance – combine to create a comprehensive approach that raises awareness about the costs of unhealthy, violent masculinity; teaches young men about the benefits of healthy, pro-social masculinity; and promotes community action. Men Can Stop Rape is widely viewed as the national leader on engaging boys and young men in the primary prevention of gender-based violence.
