  • About Us

The Chinese Progressive Association (CPA) works for full equality and empowerment of the Chinese community in the Boston area. Our activities seek to raise the living and working standards of Chinese Americans and to involve ordinary community members in making decisions that affect our lives. We emphasize and provide education to develop both skills and awareness towards the goal of empowerment. CPA is best known for its organizing around such issues as immigrant rights and political empowerment; workers' rights to decent wages, working conditions, and a safety net for the unemployed; parent decision-making and participation in children's education; community control of land development and affordable housing.
