About Us
Can you imagine your life without the internet? Ten million adults in the UK have never before been online. Worryingly, four million of these people are also amongst the country's most socially excluded. So the people who have the most to gain from the internet - whether to overcome isolation or to save money - are the ones who are missing out. We are working to change that. Race Online 2012 aims to bring people and organisations together to improve the life chances of the 10 million people who have never been online, particularly the four million who are also socially and economically excluded.
Led by Martha Lane Fox, we're a small team with a big vision - we want to get the UK as close as possible to 100% online by the London Olympics.
