Tutoring Chicago

  • About Us

Tutoring Chicago develops a foundation for life-long learning by providing free one-to-one tutoring and mentoring to Chicagoland students facing economic and social barriers.

Formerly known as Cabrini Green Tutoring Program, Tutoring Chicago has been supporting kids in Cabrini Green and beyond since 1965. With a solid history behind us and an even-stronger future ahead, we offer students the stability of a trustworthy organization. Beyond classroom help, students also benefit from structure, a positive environment, and a safe place to learn, grow and discover.

Tutoring Chicago is a private, non-profit organization that provides free weekly tutoring to approximately 1,000+ students in grades 1-10 with the help of over 1,000 dedicated volunteers.

We offer both in-person and virtual tutoring options in an effort to ensure safety and to meet the needs of our students and volunteers.
