Abundant Housing LA

Los Angeles County is in the midst of a housing crisis. Decades of resistance to new housing, particularly in high resource and historically exclusionary communities, have resulted in unbearably high rents, rising homelessness, worsened inequality, and displacement of low-income residents. Los Angeles County needs much more housing, in proximity to our growing transit system and major employment centers, if we ever hope to reverse these trends.

Abundant Housing LA (AHLA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for more housing at all levels of affordability throughout LA County. Our vision is an LA County where everyone has access to a home they can afford in the neighborhood of their choice. We organize to build and facilitate local chapters, run educational programming, advocate for pro-housing policies and new housing developments, and help support pro-housing candidates for elected office.
