United Way of Central Ohio Founded in 1923, United Way of Central Ohio strengthens families and ensures all children have the resources they need to be on a pathway to success by the time they leave third grade. We do that by serving as the backbone organization for Success by Third Grade. Using a proven collective impact model, Success by Third Grade brings together individuals, nonprofits, corporations, school districts and governments to tackle nonacademic barriers that impact reading proficiency. We are dedicated to making diversity, equity and inclusion a foundation for everything we do because we know the best decisions are made when all voices are heard and respected.
