Our flagship transitional work program-- Ready, Willing & Able-- integrates paid work, occupational training, and holistic supportive services to facilitate an individual’s return to mainstream society.
The Doe Fund has an annual operating budget of $65 million and a full-time staff 400+.
We are seeking a Case Manager/ Substance Abuse Counselor for The Doe Fund's newest permanent supportive housing program for homeless men and women living with HIV/AIDS. The program is designed to provide long-term residential care and twenty-four-hour support services in a community environment that maximizes residents' independence while ensuring their physical and emotional security and well-being. Half of the residents will be referred by the New York City HIV/AIDS Services Administration (HASA) and the other half will be apartments for affordable to low-income households.
The Case Manager/Substance Abuse Counselor is responsible for providing supportive case management services to the HASA-funded residents. The successful candidate will have strong clinical and communication skills along with an understanding of working with the HIV/AIDS population.
