Who We Are Looking For
Are you a parent living in New Haven? Are you passionate about supporting other parents? Are you organized and excited about helping programs run smoothly ? UWGNH is seeking a Parent Ambassador Program Coordinator to support our Parent Ambassador Program, which ensures that more families in New Haven have the information they need to support their child’s healthy development and education prior to starting kindergarten.
Parent Ambassadors – parents or caregivers who enjoy educating other parents about the opportunities and supports that are available for young children – are the backbone of the Parent Ambassador Program. This position is responsible for ensuring Parent Ambassadors are supported in their community outreach efforts and that the program is organized and efficient and meets the requirements of our grant funding.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee and manage the activities of contracted Parent Ambassadors
WORKING CONDITIONS:
SALARY RANGE: $35.00/hour
In accordance with organizational policies, this position requires a criminal background check as a condition of employment.
