    Description

As a team, lead campers through all parts of the expedition experience on site at Lake Valley Camp - from pack out, to the trip itself, to pack in and clean up. The main objective of our expeditions programming is for campers to push perceived limits through exploration of places that are not readily accessible. It may be some of our campers' first time trying to sleep outside in a tent or cook food outdoors. All of our camping experiences/expeditions are done on-site at our beautiful camp facility in the rolling hills of southwest Wisconsin, whether near the campers' village or farther away after backpacking to one of our ridgetops. We serve campers grades 3-8, and all of our campers are from the city of Milwaukee, WI.

The expeditions team does not typically reside in housing with campers (like our camp counselors do) but camps out with groups of campers and staff during expeditions.

The Expeditions Coordinator supports the Expeditions Instructors with logistical support for all aspects of campouts/expeditions, and is their supervisor. With the added responsibility, this position is compensated at a rate of $800/week, pre-tax. The Expeditions Instructors are compensated at a rate of $700/week, pre-tax.

Join our team to help our campers (and sometimes staff) push their perceived limits and have the best possible tent camping experience at Lake Valley Camp!
