Production Manager

We are seeking a Production Manager to join our team at Envelop SF. This role is integral to delivering the exceptional sound and listening experiences that define Envelop's mission.

Envelop is a nonprofit dedicated to transforming how we experience music and sound. Through our immersive listening spaces and cutting-edge spatial audio technology, we bring music to life in deeply engaging and inspiring ways. Our mission is to connect and inspire community through immersive listening experiences.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A passion for music, creativity, and the transformative power of sound.
• Be located in the SF Bay Area.
• Experience in live sound engineering and event production.
• Strong technical skills, including familiarity with immersive sound and lighting control.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to professional growth.
• The ability to work flexible hours, including weeknight evenings and some weekends.

The Production Manager will:

• Operate and creatively manage Envelop SF’s immersive sound and lighting during events.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve Envelop’s technology and systems in listening spaces.
• Oversee all event-related tasks, including clean-up and ensuring smooth event operations.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with the team, artists, and collaborators.
• Represent Envelop professionally in all interactions, embodying Envelop's values and mission.
• Collaborate with Envelop’s Executive Director, Creative Director, Community Manager, Lead Production Manager, and the broader team to produce experiences that align with our mission and values.
