    • Support and recruit volunteer instructors, lead curriculum planning, manage class schedules, and provide instructional coverage when needed.
    • Enroll and assess adult learners, helping them find the appropriate learning level and referring them to additional resources when necessary.
    • Advise, connect, and advocate for adult learners and neighborhood families on issues such as workers’ rights, affordable housing, and community resources.
    • Coordinate neighborhood engagement activities for families and children throughout the school year.
    • Maintain and enhance communications, including website updates, blog posts (WordPress), and outreach, in alignment with the Sisters of St. Joseph’s mission.
    • Promote language access and ensure that immigrant neighbors can connect to the resources they need.

    Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

    • A commitment to social justice and the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph and Casserly House.

    • Ability to work collaboratively with a small, dedicated team while also managing independent responsibilities.
    • Highly organized and flexible, with a passion for community building.
