    Position Title: Engagement and Events Coordinator

    Reports to: Advancement Director

    Details: The Engagement and Events Coordinator (EEC) reports directly to the Advancement Director and manages alumni, young leader and corporate engagement opportunities, as well as, advancement-related events. Engagement opportunities include but are not limited to: the young leaders & alumni programs and corporate volunteer opportunities. The position is also responsible for event management of the annual gala and other CSF events (Trivia, Bus Tour, Celebration of Excellence, Celtics Game, and School’s Out Summer Celebration, etc.). This position will identify, cultivate, solicit, and strengthen stewardship of Young Leaders, alumni, and corporate partners.

    Skills and Experience:

    The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, able to manage multiple projects concurrently with excellent written and oral communication, and organizational and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in MS Office and G-Suite and have database experience. Minimum three years of experience in event management and program administration.

    Responsibilities:

    Corporate Partnerships

    • Strengthen and grow existing corporate engagement.
    • Foster new corporate partnerships with corporate prospects.
    • Create comprehensive, formalized programs to engage corporate employees at all levels (including, but not limited to, corporate events in schools, engagement opportunities with and for CSF Scholars, and volunteer days, etc.).
    • Manage Young Leaders (YL) programming and events, including the YL Committee.

    Alumni Engagement

    • Develop, coordinate, and evaluate programs and projects to promote alumni relations.
    • Plan, coordinate, and attend events, meetings, or other activities to build strong relationships with seniors and future alumni.
    • Promote and foster effective alumni relations through routine written communication, personal contact, events, and other engagement with scholars and alumni including, but not limited to: social media with a focus on the Alumni LinkedIn group, regular alumni newsletter, and other activities as determined.
    • Oversee all data tracking and reporting for alumni; create an annual report on alumni outcomes and engagement, including college matriculation and college success.
    • Manage and conduct regular senior scholar visits.
    • Expand and strengthen the CAN network, including recruiting and engaging mentors and participants.
    • Identify scholar alumni for increased philanthropic engagement or promotion.

    Events and Other

    • Event manager of the Annual Gala.
    • Assess annual events and coordinate and manage the implementation of (Corporate Trivia, Bus Tour, Celebration of Excellence, Celtics, School’s Out Summer Celebration, Golf or others).
    • Assist with deposits and support other advancement activities as needed
