    Are you an organized, detail-oriented event pro with a passion for creating outstanding experiences? The Washington Society of CPAs (WSCPA) is looking for a Conference & Events Coordinator to bring energy, precision, and creativity to our event planning team!

    This hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 from home) is essential in ensuring the seamless execution of WSCPA conferences and events. If you love managing details, building relationships, and seeing events come to life, we want to hear from you!

    How You’ll Contribute to Our Team

    • Bring WSCPA events to life by coordinating every detail, from planning to post-event wrap-up.
    • Curate top-notch experiences by working with planning committees to develop exciting agendas and secure engaging speakers.
    • Juggle all the moving parts—venue bookings, contracts, speaker logistics, and budgeting—to keep everything running smoothly.
    • Make magic happen behind the scenes by tracking event details, registrations, and key metrics with precision.
    • Elevate networking and member engagement through fun and meaningful events that bring CPAs together.
    • Be the go-to event guru on-site, ensuring flawless execution, from check-ins to catering and session flow.
    • Deliver top-tier service—whether assisting members over the phone, supporting sponsorships, or tackling strategic initiatives.
    • Keep things fresh and exciting by collaborating with marketing to craft promotions that drive attendance and buzz.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • One year of experience in organizing and coordinating conferences/ similar functions with some experience in managing speakers, booking venues, and coordinating logistics.
    • One to three years’ experience in an administrative and/or customer service role
    • High school graduate or equivalent.
    • College coursework in liberal arts, office applications or related field a plus
    • Association or not-for-profit experience a plus

    About Us: WSCPA is a professional membership association serving CPAs throughout Washington since 1904. Our office is in Bellevue, Washington. We offer a hard-to-beat benefit package which includes a 37.5-hour work week, flexible scheduling, telecommuting and free parking. Employees are covered by medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, long term disability, basic life insurance and an EAP. Employees are able to enroll in our organization’s 401(k) plan, as well as our discretionary profit-sharing plan subject to eligibility and vesting. Employees also receive 18 days of PTO accrued annually, and 11 paid holidays throughout the year. We are currently working hybrid; this position requires the ability to come into the office.
