    About the Position

    The Human Resources Generalist will run our day-to-day HR functions, including full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, training, performance management, and DEI.

    This position will join our Operations team, report to the Talent & Culture Director.

    Job responsibilities include:

    • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute HR programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training.
    • Handle employment-related inquiries, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
    • Lead recruitments and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for external and internal openings.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process by configuring new employees in company systems and providing comprehensive onboarding support.
    • Participate in employee relations meetings and investigations.
    • Ensure compliance with mandatory trainings.
    • Assist with performance evaluation process.
    • Enforce company policies and practices.
    • Assist with maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum 4 years of HR experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to prioritize duties and meet deadlines
    • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
    • Proficiency with, and ability to learn, various tech platforms/software

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Spanish fluency
    • Experience with full-cycle recruitment
    • Experience using an applicant tracking system and HRIS
    • Experience with DEI programs and strategies
    • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
    • HR certification
    • Passion for alternative energy
