Healthier Generation works nationally and locally with schools and school districts, youth-serving organizations, businesses, and communities – building their capacity to create healthier environments where young people can thrive. Our work, in total, has reached more than 31 million children and meaningfully improved environments to support the physical, social, and emotional health of the next generation, especially those from underserved communities. Our programs are evidence-based and evidence-informed, supported by a robust digital/virtual/live training platform and action center, as well as direct-to-community services. What You Will Do
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Finance to lead our accounting and compliance functions. In this role, you will oversee financial statement reviews, budget and expense analyses, and coordinate month-end closings, all while contributing to process development and continuous improvement. You will also develop and enforce internal policies, collaborate with third-party administrators to ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, and support financial audits. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both accounting and compliance, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.

At Healthier Generation, each position is aligned with a salary grade determined by market data. For this position, the targeted salary is $93,600.
