Marshall Foundation (AWMF) is a small private operating foundation looking for serious people with original insights about critical issues facing U.S. national security over the next 20 to 30 years. Our work includes research fellowships, paper competitions, and a unique crowd-sourced chain-writing exercise.

We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Project Manager who brings proven applied expertise in project management. Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Managing Director in developing and monitoring project/experiment budgets and expenditures.
    • Develop prompts, structure, guidelines, timeline, and selection criteria for the foundation’s projects/experiments.

    • Keep the Chair, Advisory Group, and Managing Director informed of project/experiment activities with regular communications, detailed reports, and presentations for annual meetings and fundraising purposes.
    • Coordinate with the Managing Director to develop virtual and in-person events to expand the reach of project/experiment outcomes and strengthen the foundation’s network of strategic thinkers and stakeholders.
    • Assist the Managing Director in hosting at least one annual donor recognition and fundraising event and attend all online and in-person Advisory Group meetings.
