Marketing Assistant

Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and dynamic Marketing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our marketing efforts by creating engaging content, managing social media, and assisting with promotional activities. This role requires a proactive individual who can balance multiple tasks, collaborate effectively, and bring fresh ideas to our marketing initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

Content Creation and Editing:

• Edit and publish social media videos and posts on our accounts.
• Edit and publish daily stories to maintain a consistent online presence.

Content Gathering:

• Collaborate with volunteers and students to create skits.
• Visit projects to capture impactful content showcasing our initiatives.
• Conduct video interviews with clients.
• Document weekly activities and events.
• Capture images around Cusco to enrich visual storytelling.
• Attend weekly graduations.
• Recreate popular trends.
• Join students on field trips.

Social Media Management:

• Host monthly live sessions.
• Research current trends and algorithms.
• Generate analytics reports.
• Use Canva to design posters, flyers, and other promotional materials.

Community Engagement:

• Attend weekly orientation sessions to familiarize with new students and volunteers.
• Coordinate with tour companies to secure complimentary or discounted services by meeting client quotas.

Sub-Tasks:

• Sales support
• Blog writing
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English; intermediate Spanish; fluency in other languages are a bonus
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and tools.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
• Experience with Canva, CapCut or similar design tools.
• Photography and videography skills are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Work Environment: This role requires both in-office and on-site work. The Marketing Assistant will frequently attend activities, classes, and tours to gather content and interact with clients.
