    Description

    About OneWorld Now!

OneWorld Now! (OWN) is a nonprofit with over 20 years of experience providing inclusive and accessible international education for high school students. As part of our after-school or summer program, students can earn high school world language and elective credit by studying Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Arabic, or Russian. They can also opt to participate in credit-bearing Leadership workshops and apply to study abroad in a range of countries.

OWN prioritizes the determined high school students who are historically marginalized by education systems, especially those coming from communities of color, communities new to the U.S., and communities facing economic hardship. They join class in person and online, from Seattle and across the continent.

OneWorld Now!’s vision is that all youth have access to transformative international education opportunities. To help ensure this, all OneWorld Now! programs are priced on a sliding scale based on family size and income.

OneWorld Now! is committed to being an anti-racist organization and to supporting our youth, staff, and community in our collective, ongoing learning of how we can dismantle all systems of oppression.
