The Manager of School Support –Operations will ensure the seamless execution of operational systems and processes across schools within the region. This role is integral to supporting school-based operations staff with a focus on customer service, capacity-building, and logistical coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
School Finance Support:
● Assist with the implementation of financial strategies and processes related to government funding and Ohio Department of Education (ODE) billing systems.
● Support the management of financial systems such as Intacct, FACTS, and KinderConnect, ensuring accuracy and compliance at the school level.
● Provide operational support to schools for financial reporting, budgeting, and maximizing available funds.
Human Resources Management Support:
● Help manage the day-to-day operations of HR systems, including Paycor, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing and compliance.
● Support school-based HR functions such as recruitment, staff retention, and performance management.
● Collaborate with school leaders to operationalize HR strategies for staff development and satisfaction.
Enrollment Systems Support:
● Ensure efficient use of Finalsite for managing student recruitment, enrollment, and retention processes.
● Provide operational support for maintaining accurate student enrollment data and records.
● Work with school teams to track and report enrollment trends and assist with strategies to meet enrollment goals
Data and Compliance Support:
● Support schools in meeting federal, state, and local reporting requirements.
● Oversee data collection and compliance processes for systems such as Digital Academy, AVS, and Ohio Department of Education (ODE).
● Help operationalize data reporting systems to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant submissions.
Liaison for Network Events, Orders, and Vendors:
● Act as the primary contact for coordinating logistics for network-wide events, ensuring smooth planning and execution.
● Manage relationships with network-level vendors, ensuring that schools receive the necessary materials and services.
● Oversee large-scale orders and distribution processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of supplies and resources.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree required
● 3+ years of experience in school operations, finance, HR, or a related field.
● Familiarity with financial systems (Intacct, FACTS, KinderConnect) and HR platforms (Paycor).
● Experience with Finalsite and data management systems (Digital Academy, AVS, ODE).
● Ability to support and build the capacity of school-based operations teams.
● Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
● Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
