    Position Overview

    Our Revolution is dedicated to organizing the grassroots to win progressive issue fights, elect progressive champions, transform the Democratic party, and get big money out of politics.

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Campaign Manager to organize around local elections and issue fights. The Campaign Manager will be responsible for endorsement screening, candidate relations, and campaign support, including volunteer recruitment and voter contact operations. The ideal candidate is committed to progressive politics, proactive, and passionate about community-centered leadership and electoral engagement.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Leadership

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive campaign plan and timeline in coordination with stakeholders.
    • Manage progress toward goals related to endorsements, voter contact, digital outreach, and coalition building.
    • Adapt strategy in real time to address emerging opportunities and challenges.

    Field & Voter Contact

    • Build and execute a data-driven field plan focused on voter identification, persuasion, and turnout.
    • Recruit, train, and manage volunteers for canvassing, phone banking, texting, turnout, and event outreach.
    • Use tools like Action Builder, VAN or other CRM systems to track voter contact and performance metrics.

    Communications & Digital

    • Lead campaign messaging and content across all platforms, including social media, website, emails, and printed materials.
    • Engage local media outlets and coordinate press releases, interviews, and events.
    • Collaborate with consultants and vendors to develop and distribute paid media content.

    Operations & Compliance

    • Oversee campaign budgeting, expense tracking, and compliance reporting in collaboration with the campaign treasurer.
    • Maintain internal systems for scheduling, digital file organization, and team communications.
    • Ensure timely and accurate filings in accordance with local and state election regulations.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in campaign management, organizing, or political strategy roles.
    • Proven track record of leadership in fast-paced environments.
    • Familiarity with digital tools such as Action Builder, ActBlue, and social media management platforms.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
    • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and democratic engagement.

    Compensation

    • Salary range: $5,000–$7,000/month depending on location and experience.
    • Stipends or reimbursements may be available for transportation and other campaign-related expenses.
    • Preference for candidates based in state, with in-person availability during key phases of the campaign.
