Vegan Certification Auditor – Full-Time, Remote Position (Virginia applicants only)

Vegan Action is hiring a full-time professional who is enthusiastic about working with clients to review applications for Vegan Certification approval for vegan products.

Experience Level: Mid-level

Compensation: USD $22 - $25/hour based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Working with and supporting clients through the vegan certification process through email and phone
• Work at various vegan education outreach events (weekends several times a year)
• Reports directly to the Executive Director
• Attend weekly zoom staff meetings
• Attend in-person meetings as scheduled

Required Qualifications:

• Identifies personally as vegan
• Lives in Central Virginia
• General knowledge of vegan products and the vegan lifestyle
• Required experience researching, compiling, and organizing information from various sources
• Experience with Word, Excel spreadsheets, Gmail, Google Drive, and database
• Bachelor’s degree minimum
• Knowledge and interest in vegan consumer products
• Enthusiasm for interacting with the public about veganism at public events
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Comfortable with structure, documentation review, and organization
• Ability to accurately adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures
• Customer friendliness and patience
• Ability to work independently from home
• A strong eye for details
• Excellent time management
• Strong problem-solving skills
• A positive, respectful, and enthusiastic attitude for work and teamwork
