The California Accountable Communities for Health Initiative (CACHI) is a statewide movement aimed at transforming the systems that shape the health of communities through a collective action approach called Accountable Communities for Health (ACH). ACHs are locally governed civic groups of residents and system partners (hospitals, public health, schools, public safety agencies, parks, businesses) working together to improve community conditions, address social needs, promote effective care, and ultimately transform systems to improve health outcomes and achieve health equity.
With the support of multi-year funding from both state and private foundations, CACHI currently supports 37 ACHs in 27 counties across California. This position presents an exciting opportunity to advance the ACH model and drive transformational systems change throughout the state.
Position Overview
The Program Director will play a key leadership role in shaping and driving the programmatic components of CACHI’s initiative, focusing on technical assistance, coaching, learning, and evaluation. This position will oversee the coordination and execution of these core program elements while ensuring alignment with CACHI’s strategic priorities and commitment to health equity.
The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, expertise in providing technical assistance, and experience working with multi-site initiatives. The Program Director will be a connector, ensuring that learning and insights are integrated into policy and operational improvements, while also building robust relationships with stakeholders across the field.

CACHI is fiscally sponsored by Community Partners, and the Program Director can work from anywhere within California or out of the Community Partners office in Los Angeles. Salary Range $100,000 - $125,000, depending on experience.

Community Partners has a 9/80 work week option under which employees may elect to work 80 hours in 9 days and take off every other Friday (after completion of an introductory period).
