United Way Worldwide (UWW) Office of the General Counsel seeks an experienced attorney to serve as Associate General Counsel. A self-starter and curiosity-driven individual with an appetite to learn and take on new projects, the Associate General Counsel (AGC) (Federal Grants and Contracts, Regulatory Compliance and Business Transactions) provides strategic legal, regulatory and business advice and legal services for the benefit of UWW in a manner consistent with UWW’s mission, values and strategic objectives. The AGC conducts highly complex and important work and projects critical to the organization.
The AGC is responsible for managing specific regulatory and compliance functions, providing expert knowledge in government-funded awards and contracts, supporting investigations and claims, and assisting with the legal review of other business transactions. The AGC interacts with the legal team and peer groups daily, supporting inter-team cooperation and standardization of processes and procedures. The AGC ensures service levels are met, and work product is consistently of high quality and is expected to collaborate throughout the organization and works closely with UWW’s Government Partnerships, Global Network Advancement Team, and Finance departments.

SALARY STATEMENT
The budgeted lifespan salary range for this position is currently $165,000 to $185,000 per year. Salary is determined by several factors including applicant’s knowledge, skills, experience, position, equity, and market.
