    Description

    This position is perfect for you if building meaningful connections and fostering inclusivity in arts and cultural spaces matters to you. Our Arts 4 Us program is seeking a Community Engagement lead to support collaboration between the program's two other leadership roles. Together, this team works in harmony to attend events with arts and cultural partners across the Berkshires, guiding groups of individuals to these events while strengthening and maintaining vital community partnerships.

    Our Arts 4 Us program carves out spaces where people can connect, support one another, and see themselves reflected in arts and cultural spaces. Through intentional collaboration with Berkshire arts and cultural partners, we aim to create an inclusive environment where all voices are heard and celebrated.

    The Community Engagement Coordinator will:

    • Encourage active participation in events and programs; performs public outreach for participation in Arts 4 Us programs and events.
    • Work with the Partnership Liaison to create partnership goals for each organization
    • Work with Partnership Liaison to forge and maintain program partnerships; to identify, establish, and nurture partnerships with organizations, community groups, and businesses.
    • Work with the Ambassador Liaison to determine Arts 4 Us marketing and outreach goals
    • Lead Arts 4 Us events with Ambassador Liaison and/or Ambassadors; gather community feedback through surveys, focus groups, or informal discussions
    • Work with all team members to determine the workflow for creation, revision, implementation, and review of evaluation materials.
    • Work with Arts 4 Us Ambassadors and Ambassador Liaison to execute and ensure a successful workflow for implementation and review of evaluation materials.
    • Create event summaries or reports as required
    • Create system for and works with the Ambassador Liaison to respond to community inquiries via email, social media, or other communication channels promptly and professionally
    • Maintain accurate contact lists and databases for outreach purposes

    Level of Language Proficiency

    Preference will be given to candidates who are multilingual, particularly those who speak Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Haitian Creole. Strong communication skills in these languages are highly valued to better serve our diverse community.
