    Description

    The Program Coordinator works closely with the founder/ CEO and researcher/clinician Dr. Willoughby Britton, overseeing all aspects of the organization, including education, care services, communications and administration finances. While an entry level position, there is opportunity to step into leadership roles in line with experience, skillsets and interests. The position is a 100% remote, part-time position (20 hrs/week) with flexible hours.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Education:

    • Coordinate speakers for speaker series
    • Provide all of the admin support and host the events
    • Video editing + course creation on Thinkific
    • Work with Education Committee for the APA Continuing education program

    Communications/Marketing

    • Create + send newsletters to internal + external listservs for upcoming events/programming
    • Point of contact- answer emails with referral to resources and services
    • Manage social media feeds (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Whatsapp, Discord)

    Care Services:

    • Provide admin support to Care Team + trainees
    • Help set up new programs in Acuity (scheduling program)
    • Coordinate community and supervision meetings
    • Schedule support group facilitators

    Administration/Finances

    • Issue refunds
    • Administer grants and financial assistance
    • Employee onboarding, orientation, payroll

    Other Potential Responsibilities

    • supervise volunteers and interns
    • fundraising
    • Manage Google Ads/Profile/Analytics

    Qualifications/competencies:

    • Experience in related field or context
    • Strong organizational skills, reliability and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Emotionally mature, socially attuned
    • Ability to work remotely and independently without oversight, and also in teams
    • Ability to step into leadership roles and take initiative
    • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and sensitivity.
    • Experience with and/or ability to learn software platforms (Mailchimp, Gusto, Thinkific, Acuity, squarespace, Zoom) and video editing
    • interest in the mission of the organization, social justice, victim advocacy
    • interest in non-profits, business start-ups and entrepreneurship
    • experience with web design, communications/advertising or social media a plus
