Modeled after Brilliant Corners in California, Anthos|Home streamlines the apartment search, approval, and move-in processes while addressing gaps in the NYC voucher housing system. We aim to be a game-changer for New Yorkers who are unhoused or at risk of homelessness.

    The Role

    As a Social Care Networks (SCN) Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring participants receive the support they need to secure and maintain stable housing. Reporting to the Chief Program Officer, you will lead the successful launch, implementation, and delivery of Anthos|Home’s services within two Social Care Networks (SCNs) under New York State’s 1115 Demonstration Waiver.

    These two SCNs, administered by Public Health Solutions and Somos, span four boroughs of NYC. Anthos|Home will receive client referrals and ensure the timely delivery of screening, social care navigation, housing placement services, and aftercare through the SCNs. The SCN Supervisor will initially supervise two employees, overseeing their training and performance to ensure efficient service delivery. In addition to staff supervision, this role involves cultivating referral sources, monitoring service quality, developing training materials, workflows, and procedures, and continuously analyzing and improving program performance in alignment with measurable service and financial goals. The SCN Supervisor will also collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to facilitate the successful implementation of housing placement and other essential services for SCN-eligible clients.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and support a team of 2-7 Specialists
    • Develop internal policies and procedures consistent with SCN guidelines and protocols.
    • Train, support and supervise staff to ensure high quality and timely service delivery
    • Manage service provision and fill-in for staff where necessary
    • Work with internal and external teams to identify obstacles and gaps and to recommend and implement solutions
    • Conduct case conferences and facilitate problem-solving
    • Work closely with the Chief Program Officer and other Anthos|Home team members to meet team goals
    • Work closely with Housing Acquisition Specialists and external partners, and participate in meetings as needed
    • Oversee timely completion of welcome meetings and data entry
    • Assist with housing placements and move-ins
    • Monitor aftercare services and ensure participant stability
    • Respond to housing and tenant-related emergencies
    • Conduct regular supervisory check-ins and unit meetings
    • Participate in on-call rotation and complete incident reports
    • Conduct training for staff as needed
    • Perform other duties as needed and assigned

    Qualifications

    • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) preferred, MSW required and/or 2+ years of Supervisory experience in a Social Work role
    • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in housing and/or human services
    • Passion for working with vulnerable populations
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
    • Familiarity with NYC housing market and voucher system
    • Experience developing community-based resources
    • Willingness to travel and conduct multiple community visits
    • Proficiency in MS Office suite, Salesforce
    • Ability to work in a diverse environment

    Compensation and Benefits

    • Competitive starting salary: $80,000 - $85,000
